Jackson Galaxy, "Cat Daddy" Will be in Sarasota, Fla., September 14, 2013

I'm two cats shy of being the single, crazy cat lady but that isn't stopping me from attending the lecture and book signing by Cat Daddy himself, Jackson Galaxy. The Cat Depot is arranging his Sept. 14, 2013, visit to the Hyatt Regency Sarasota.

Cat Depot's mission from their website is to:

Save lives, find loving homes, and provide the resources and education to improve the destiny of homeless cats.

For all you non-crazed feline fans, Jackson Galaxy is a cat behaviorist and host of Animal Planet's My Cat from Hell. He speaks cat and for the most part is able to calm the most out of control feline into a purrrr-fect pet. (Okay, if you're like me, your cat is more than a pet and part of your family.)

Proceeds will benefit Cat Depot's "Friends Like Me," a program to help sick, injured and special needs cats.
