What I Did to Stimulate the Economy Yesterday: April 1, 2009

It's just after midnight so technically, I have to title this post, "yesterday." I was hoping for another no-spending day but that didn't happen. I made America proud by stimulating the economy with:

• Fuel
• Iced tea @ McDonald's (disappointing experience, I asked for sweet tea and didn't realize the error until well down the interstate)
• Veggie Farm Share (prepaid last fall)

I also noticed a little something extra in my paycheck, an extra $10 a week. Nope, not a raise. Just part of Obama's stimulus package. But really? Will $10 a week really going to make a difference? I like to see a lump sum, that seems to have more impact. Beggars can't be choosers, I'll spend or save it wisely.
