I'm not letting pain prevent me from roller derby practice. But good lord, I was in serious pain this afternoon after sitting stagnant at the desk. Sharp bouts of pain shot up my right thigh when I got up for lunch. With each step I silently cursed myself for being old as I hobbled over to the mall for lunch. I later hobbled to the gym this evening and avoided leg exercises (and I should've avoided the scale, too). Returning home, it was more of a walk than a hobble and it feels much better. Guess I just needed to keep it mobile. Thursday night is practice.
