Stone Crabs are in Season, Yum!

It's been a great weekend. I escorted seven travel writers were exploring the community this weekend and now shifting gears by attending Florida Encounter, a meeting planner conference. My evenings have been brief so here's another photo to tell the story.

Friday night was dinner at Peace River Seafood where we feasted on stone crab claws, blue crabs, shrimp and other fresh seafood. Below is a photo of stone crab claws. Look at the size of them. They're huge!

I have other cool pix to share and will try to post them throughout the week.

Looks good. Much better than the crabs we get here in China. I don't like eating the little ones so much.

I agree- YUM!! Hope they stay in business till we get there again! It IS a fun place - great for that "local color" - and the food's not bad either.
