What's That Nibbling on My Toes?

Today I made my bi-monthly visit up to Sarasota to see Grandma. She's really making some progress and is talking about coming home by mid-October. That's good news. She was really zipping around today so maybe she'll be home sooner than later.

It was time for a pedicure and I had seen in the news about something called "live fish pedicures" at a salon in Sarasota. Hmm, this sounds a bit quirky, doesn't it? So I made the trip and what was it like? Finish reading about the experience over at Suite101.

I was recently diving when we swam past a cleaning station where large fish go to get parasites cleaned off of them by cleaner fish.

When you swim past, the cleaner fish nibble on your legs. Sort of the same principal, but in nature.

Hi Gary A. Where'd you go diving? That's pretty cool.

I'm jealous! I want to try that. I posted an article about it on Facebook. It sounds cool!

Hi Cordelia. It was a pretty cool experience. Look around NY, I was told there are some salons doing something similar.
