Weeks 8 & 9 of the Worden Farm share veggies are combined in this post. As you can see, more lovely, organic produce over the past two weeks. Last week there were a few new items, like banana peppers (at least that's what I call them) and kale. Honestly, I didn't think you could eat kale, in Yellowstone we used it for decoration. I have to cook it up and give it a try.
This week there are grape tomatoes along with these skinny eggplants. A regular-sized one was included too, along with these. At least I THINK they're eggplants. Haven't prepared them yet. With commuting to Sarasota nightly, there isn't much time to enjoy all this freshness but I'm lucky to have friends who can put them to good use.
The grass-fed beef I ordered should be here sometime in mid-February, looking forward to that. I was planning on using it to feed the family while here, hope it works out that way.
