This is one of those posts where I'm gonna let the pictures do the talking. The Tampa Bay Rays reported to their new spring training home last week, the Charlotte Sports Park in Port Charlotte. Today, the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce organized a parade and meet and greet for the American League Champions.Check out my Flickr set with images from the parade and meet and greet. I don't know most of the players' names, so help me out when you can!
In addition to being comfortable in their new spring training home and community, I hope these young men are appreciating and savoring the moment for what it is. As you'll see from the photos, some of the Rays players are doing just that.
And yes, I was in the parade, promoting a new campaign set to roll out soon.
