Sarah! Campaiged in Tampa Bay, Again

Sorry for the quick post, but I'm working on creating a slide show of the Sarah Palin event in Tampa today. I know, I know. I vowed earlier this month I'd never attend another rally. But, like a politician, or a woman, I changed my mind because I knew I could make it. My day began at 5 a.m. but well worth it.

Enjoy a couple of these shots and I'll post a slide show when done. And yes, I was THAT close.
Edited at 11:20 p.m.: Okay, here's a link to a slide show, please check it out! No matter what your position, I'm proud of my citizen photojournalism skills :) And, every click counts, times are tough, you know...

What a great adventure! Wish there was more time till the election- I think Sarah Palin is just starting to hit her stride and get her message across.

Those are terrific photos!

I was watching Fox & MesSNBC as Elizabeth Hasselback gave her introduction and wondered if you'd made it. First I saw the intro and then the beginning of Sarah Palin's talk. I thought, Jennifer might be in the crush of that crowd and here I am in the comfort of my home and....Click! Off went the feed and on to a commercial. And Sarah was just getting started and I was cheering...And then it was another needless pharmaceutical being advertised again....Then I thought how lucky to be out there to hear the whole thing! Congratulations!

Get that ticket framed!

I took at least 150 photos of the event and yes, I was there in the crush of the crowd and glad I did it. I have all of Hasselbeck's speech on video and most of Palin's, my Flip only holds an hour's worth of video. I hope to get more of the photos sorted over the next week or so and take the best and get the ticket framed :) I can't believe the station cut away from the speech for a commercial! Attending really gave me a different perspective on filters.
