One of the coolest things to do in Sarasota is the Sarasota Children's Garden. It's a bit difficult to find but worth the "hunt." Just about everything at the garden has been made from recycled bits, whether it's from a car, a tea set or whatever. I first visited with some co-workers (when I was living there) when we discovered it existed.It would be a cool adult party place at night, maybe a costumed-theme party.
My Mom and I took my nephew and niece there one year when they came down for a visit. Enjoy the experience.
