OK, anyone who knows me knows I don't have any musical rhythm about me. I can't carry a tune and I can't dance. This fact doesn't prevent me from doing them, I just know I do them really bad.
So tonight, I participated in a Middle Eastern dance class and loved it! I was pretty much able to keep in rhythm with what was going on and didn't look too weird doing so. The instructor definitely made it a fun and educational class, I will be joining next week's class.
In the meantime, I picked up a pair of zills (finger symbols) to practice with, maybe I'll take them to this weekend's reunion, hmmm....
